Keith Lear drives the #8L Chevette Class car.  His home track is Ponderosa Speedway but he can also be found racing at Richmond Raceway.  He lives in Lancaster, KY.

Team members helping Keith are:  Traci - wife, Dad, Ron Lear and family.

Keith started racing in 2005 in the Chevette Class at Ponderosa Speedway because he loved race cars.  His first win was that same year.  Career highlights include 2nd place in Points at Ponderosa Speedway in 2005, and his first win at the Ponderosa Speedway (Heat Race).

The thrill of racing for Keith is the speed.  His most exciting racing moment was when he and a friend of his, Scottydog, ran neck n neck one night.  He's most proud of the friends he's made.

Keith's racing hero is Darrell Langan Racing.

Of racing, Keith says, "If you love cars and racing, you would love to drive them.  It's a lot different than watching!".
