Steve Cornelius drives the #2 Late Model Class car. he lives in Berea, Ky. His home track is Richmond.

He started racing in 1990 in Late Model Class at Richmond for the fun and competition. His first win was in 1996 in Late Model Class at Volusia County Speedway. Career highlights include, 1 Feature Win during Speed weeks 1996, 2nd in Points at  Richmond Speedway 1998, 7 Feature Wins and  numerous Heat and Consi Wins.

The thrill of racing for Steve is the competition. His most exciting racing  moment was when he was leading Rick Eckert, Billy Moyer and other to the checkered flag at Volusia County Speedway. He is most proud of being a good sportsman and a safe driver.

Steve's racing hero is Freddy Smith.
