T. Jay Preston

T. Jay Preston drives the #T2 Street Stock Class car. He lives in Danville, Ky. his home track is the Ponderosa Speedway. He can also be found racing at the Bluegrass Speedway, Bardstown, Ky.

He started racing in 2001 Chevettes Class at the Ponderosa Speedway because he had been helping a friend for years and decided to go start doing it for himself. His first win was in  the same year, class and  track. Career highlight for T. Jay was wining his first time out.

The thrill of racing for Him is  "running door to door". He is most proud of his helping others to start racing.

Racing heroes are Dale Earnhardt Sr. and Dale Earnhardt Jr.

Of racing, T. Jay says, "It is fun and can help troubled kids get out of trouble".
