Russ Gabbert drives the #11 Open Wheel Modified Class car.  His home track is Richmond Raceway but he can also be found racing at Lake Cumberland Raceway and Ponderosa Speedway.  He lives in Berea, KY.

Team members helping Russ are:  Bill Lynch, Dustin Lynch, Ken Sanolin.

Russ started racing in 1994 in the Street Stock Class at Crown Point Speedway because he went to CPS with a friend to watch him race his Street Stock and Russ was hooked.  He was Drag racing before that.  His first win was that same year.  Career highlights include 2000 and 2001 first two years in Open Wheel Modified finished 4th in the Points at Crown Point Speedway, 2003-'06 finished 2nd at Richmond Raceway in Points.  Biggest Feature win for Russ was B-Feature at the Bluegrass Bash in '07.

The thrill of racing for Russ is being able to be competitive and win some on a very small budget.  His most exciting racing moment was his first night.  He's most proud of staying competitive year after year.

Russ's racing heroes are Dale Earnhardt Sr. and Dale Earnhardt Jr.
