Skylar Marlar drives the #257 Open Wheel Modified Class car.  His home track is Lake Cumberland Speedway but he can also be found racing at Crossville's Raceway USA and Richmond Raceway.  He lives in Winfield, TN.

Team members helping Skylar are:  David Marlar, Mike Marlar, Nick Botts, Camaron Marlar, Aimee Anderson, Josh Davis and Paul Roe (engine builder), Rylan Bowlin. 

Skylar started racing in 2004 in the Street Stock Class at Scenic Raceway because it runs in the family.  His first win was that same year.  Career highlights include Open Wheel Feature wins at Baxter TN in '05, Ponderosa Speedway in '05, Scenic Raceway in '05, Open Wheel Feature win at Lake Cumberland in '07.

The thrill of racing for Skylar is side by side for 20 laps.  His most exciting racing moment was his first win.  He's most proud of making life long friends.

Skylar's racing hero is Freddy Smith.

Of racing, Skylar says, "You meet a lot of nice people at the race tracks.  Racing is like a big family!".
