David L. Scarborough Jr.

David Scarborough drives the #37 Open Wheel Modified Class car. He lives in Orlando, Ky.  His home track is Richmond but he can also be found racing at Lake Cumberland and Junction City.

He began racing in 2002 in Bomber Class at Richmond Raceway because as a kid, he used to go and watch the races and always wanted to try it.

The thrills of racing for David are  working on something, putting it to work and the driving rush. The most exciting racing moment for David was when he got up on the guard rail and thought he was going to flip over. He is most proud of racing all year and only not finishing one race.

His racing hero is Scott Bloomquist.

Of racing, David says, "It's alot of fun, but also alot of work".
