Greg Payne drives the #42 Super Late Model Class car.  His home track is Richmond Raceway.  He lives in Clay City, KY.

Team members helping Greg are:  Dad, Rick Poe, Lonnie Centers, Danny Hamilton, Tommy Bowen, Gary Fugate, Ernest Lawson, Trevor Faw.  Elwood Fugate is the car owner.

Greg started racing in 2000 in the Late Model Class at Richmond Raceway because he's been around racing his entire life.  His first win was in '03 in the Super Late Model Class at Fleming County.  Career highlights include wins 3 weeks in a row at Half Mountain Speedway and  winning first race at Richmond Raceway in '06.

The thrill of racing for Greg is patience.  His most exciting racing moment was flipping at Mudlick Raceway in '06.  He's most proud of the continuous progress from year to year.

Greg's racing hero is Tony Stewart.
