Kenny Christy lives in Vanceburg, KY. His home track is  Portsmouth Speedway, Ohio,  but he can also be found racing at Willard Speedway.

He began racing in 1980 in Semi Late Class at Southern OH. after falling in love with the sport. His first win was in 1980 in Late Model Class at Fleming County. Career highlights include Track Champion at Portsmouth Speedway  in 2000 and also in 2002.

His most exciting racing moment was his first win at PRP. He is most proud of making the best out of everything with limited resources.
