Brian Markham drives the #21m Pure Stock Class car.  His home track is Western Kentucky Speedway but he can also be found racing at Windy Hollow Speedway.  He lives in Princeton, KY.

Team members helping Brian are:  Matt Markham, Eddie, Michael Markham, Jamie Markham - Brian's wife who without her support, none of it would be possible.

Brian started racing in 2004 in the Pure Stock Class at Western Kentucky Speedway because as a little boy he watched his Father race and work on cars.  Brian was always attracted to the sport.  His first win was in 2005 in the Pure Stock Class at Western Kentucky Speedway.  Career highlights include several Heat wins, 4 Feature wins, Track Championship in '05 and 5th in the Points in '04.

The thrill of racing for Brian is the adrenaline rush and the attention everyone gives to their sport.  His most exciting racing moment was his first win where he ran 2nd to a guy the whole race.  Then on the white flag lap he got really messed up and Brian went on to win.  He's most proud of winning the Championship in '05.  It takes a lot to pull something like that off, which he and his crew worked very hard to get.

Brian's racing heroes are Jeff Gordon and his Father.

Of racing, Brian says, "Racing is a good family sport, also it is fairly cheap entertainment.  There's nothing like going to your local track on Saturday night and watching all of the talent a lot of drivers have!".
