J. T. Ayers drives the #28 Open Wheel Modified Class car.  His home track is Bluegrass Speedway but he can also be found racing at Ponderosa Speedway.  He lives in New Haven, KY.

J. T. started racing in 1998 in Go Karts Class at Clay City and in 2005 in the Open Wheel Modified Class at Bluegrass Speedway because his Grandfather raced and he liked it a lot.  His first win in Open Wheel Modified was in 2005 at Bluegrass Speedway.  Career highlights include 2nd in Rookie of the Year at Bluegrass Speedway.

The thrill of racing for J. T. is the speed and rush.  His most exciting racing moment was winning the B-Main in 2005 at Bluegrass Speedway.
