Wes Howard drives the #42 Modified Class
car. He lives in Paris, KY. His home track is Bluegrass Speedway,
but he can also be found racing at Richmond Raceway.
He started racing in 1987 in Bombers Class
at Richmond Raceway as a stress relief. His first win was in 1988 at Clay
City in Bomber Class. Career highlights include, 1998 Track Champion
Bombers Richmond, 1997 Pumpkin 100 Lap Race Richmond, 1998 Pumpkin 100 lap
Race Richmond, 1995 Bomber National Rockcastle Co., 2001 Rookie of the
Year Late Model Black Top Corbin, KY.
The thrill of racing for Wes is the high
speed turns knowing that you are in control. His most exciting
racing moment was winning the Bomber Championship in 1998. He is
most proud of racing all of the years without a major sponsor.
His racing hero is Lee Petty.
