Avral Thompson drives the #44 Street Stock Class car.  His home track is Bluegrass Speedway.  He lives in Loretto, KY.

Avral started racing in 1989 in the Street Stock Class at Campbellsville, KY because his family was involved and his brother-in-law got Avral started.  His first win was in 1989 in the Street Stock Class at Campbellsville, KY.  Career highlights include wins at Campellsville, Junction City but for the last 2 1/2 years he's been racing at Bluegrass Speedway.  He has had 9 Feature wins plus in '06 was the Street Stock Champion and Overall Points Track Champion.

The thrill of racing for Avral is making a car go fast and turning left.  His most exciting racing moment was winning the Feature at Bluegrass Speedway on Legends Night.  His whole family was there to honor his brother-in-law and his Father and Avral put the icing on the cake with a win.  He's most proud of winning the 2006 Championship at Bluegrass Speedway. 

Avral's racing hero is Lennie Nalley.
