Michael D. Watson drives the #55 Late Model car. He lives in Campbellsville, Ky. His home track is The Bluegrass Speedway in Bardstown, KY. but he can also be found racing at Clinton County, Burnside, KY.  and Crossville, TN.

He started racing in 1994 in the Street Stock Class at Campbellsville, KY. because his Uncle  has raced for over 40 years and he grew up around it all of his life. His cousin races, his Father raced in the 70's and His Brother raced in the 80's. His first win was in 2004 in Open Wheel at the Bluegrass Speedway.

Career highlights include, Winning numerous  Events during his Go-Kart racing years, Top 5 Car when he raced Street Stock for  1 season.. He ran Open Wheel for  1 season-competitive. This year he has only ran 6 times so far. Best run 2004-Fast Time at Clinton County, won Fast Heat, Led half of the Feature and finished 3rd.
