Mike Bailey drives the #5 Street Stock Class car. He lives in Clarksville, IN. His home track is Bardstown.

He started racing in 1992 in Dromers Class at Sportsdrome because he has been raised around racing all of his life. His first win was in 1993 in Mini Late Model at Thunder Valley Speedway. Career highlights include, 2 Feature Wins, 3 Heat Race Wins. This year he hasn't finished outside of 3rd and leading Points midway through  this year (2004). 2004 Street Stock at Bardstown, KY.

The thrills of racing for  Mike are winning and competition. His most exciting racing moment was his first Feature win and set the fastest time the same night , his first time ever on dirt. He is most proud of being able to do what he loves to do.

 His racing hero is Scott Bloomquist.
