Joey Daniel drives the Louis and Phyllis Brady owned #77 C.J. Rayburn Late Model car. He lives in Liberty, KY.  His home track is Bluegrass Speedway but he can also be found racing at McCoy Motors Speedway. 

He started racing in 1986 in the Street Stock Class at Taylor County Speedway because he loved to go fast. His first win was in 1987 in the Street Stock Class at Taylor County Speedway. Career highlights include 6 Track Championships in Street Stock, 2 of which were in 1992 at Ponderosa Speedway and Lake Cumberland Speedway.  He also won the 2000 Fall Classic at Ponderosa.   

Joey’s latest track championships were Late Model at Bluegrass Speedway in 2001, 2004 and 2005.  He has won a total of eight track championships. 

The thrill of racing for Joey is racing to win. His most exciting racing moment was winning the '91 Lake Cumberland Classic. He's most proud of his level of success. 

Joey’s team includes  George Allen, Anthony Brown, Brian Sheene, Brian King and JR Gregory. 

Joey's racing hero is Dale Earnhardt.  Of racing, Joey says, "It's a great sport - lots of hard work but fun. Takes lots of dedication!”
