Josh Lucas drives the #78 Open Wheel Modified Class car. He lives in Bardstown, Ky. His home track is Bluegrass Speedway but he can also be found racing at Brownstown, IN, Soggy Bottoms and Richmond in KY.

He started racing in 1994 in Open Wheel Class at Bluegrass Speedway because of his family. His first win was in 1996 at Bardstown in Open Wheel Class. Career highlights include, 1999 finished 42nd in UMP Points, 1999 and 2003 Bluegrass Speedway Track Champion and overall Points Winner.

The thrill of racing for Josh is going really fast. His most exciting racing moment was  winning a $2000.00 race at Putnamville, IN. in 2001. He is most proud  of being the 2003 Track Champion and overall Points winner.

His racing heroes are  Butch Shay #16 Open Wheel, and Tony Stewart.

Of racing, Josh says, "Just have fun and remember that there is always next weekend".
