Terry Edwards
#E7
Terry Edwards drives the #E7 Open Wheel
Modified Class car. His home track is Bluegrass Speedway but he
can also be found racing at Soggy Bottoms Speedway. He lives in
Sulphur Well, KY.
Team members helping Terry are: J
T Tucker, Jarrod Steele, Michael Martin, Chy Edwards, Errol Edwards,
Jessica Tucker, Traci & Makensey Edwards.
Terry started racing in 1984 in the
Street Stock Class at Barren County Speedway because his family's always
raced something and cars were safer than motorcross. His first win
was that same year. Career highlights include 1979 Kart
Championship, 1983 Motorcross BCMX Championship, 1990 Modified Street
Championship.
The thrill of racing for Terry is
building the car. He loves fabrication. His most exciting
racing moment was passing David England (Michael England 5) Dad for the
Kentucky Classic win and the year's Championship at Barren County
Speedway. He's most proud of making great friends at every track
that he's raced at. They seem to always have, even if they lose.
Football is fun, in the middle of the pits with is crew and other crews.
Terry's racing hero is Richard Petty.
Of racing, Terry says, "If you're losing
or winning, you still eat, breathe, sleep, think, live and enjoy racing!
It's a way of life!".
