He began racing in 2004 in Street Stock at Bluegrass Speedway, because his Dad had been racing since Lee was 5 and he has always loved racing. Career highlight includes, Finishing 3rd in Points-Street Stock, in his first year of racing.

The thrill of racing for him is being out front and knowing that nobody can beat you. His most exciting racing moment was winning his first hear race.

His racing hero is his Dad, (Joe Gray).
