Tyler Townsend drives the #12T Modified Class car.  His home track is Lone Star Speedway but he can also be found racing at Ark-La-Tex Speedway.  He lives in Longview, TX.

Team members helping Tyler are:  Phil Townsend, Tim Motler, Kevin Beaty.  Big Texas Auto Parts is the car owner.

Tyler started racing in 1997 in the Go Kart Class because his Dad got him into it.  His first win was that same year.  Career highlights include 2010    Ark-La-Tex Speedway Modified Champion and Rookie of the Year, '10 Modified State Champion at Boothill Speedway.

The thrill of racing for Tyler is the speed.  His most exciting racing moment was the Boothill Speedway Championship.  He's most proud of the                  Ark-La-Tex Speedway Rookie of the Year and Championship.

Of racing, Tyler says, "If you get into it, you'll never get out!".
