Sammie Fromm drives the #16 Pure Stock Class car.  Her home track is Chateau Raceway but she can also be found racing at Steele County Speedway.  She lives in Owatonna, MN.

Team members helping Sammie are:  Dad - Clete Fromm, Brother - Jeff Fromm, Jeff Nelson, Jeff Dahle, Jake Dahle.  Clete Fromm is the car owner.

Sammie started racing in 2005 in the Pure Stock Class at Chateau Raceway because her Mom sponsored a Street Stock and Sammie was on the pit crew.  She decided they needed another girl on the track! 

The thrill of racing for Sammie is going fast and using the strategies of how to make the car work.  Her most exciting racing moment was getting her 2nd place finish in her Heat race last year (2006) and racing side by side the whole way.  She's most proud of how she has improved since her first race in '05.

Of racing, Sammie says, "You never know till you try it yourself.  It's a lot of fun!".
