Matt Larson drives the #33L Midwest Modified Class car.  His home track is Chateau Raceway but he can also be found racing at Steele County Speedway.  He lives in Owatonna, MN.

Team members helping Matt are:  Rod Stoen, Spencer McDermott, Ray Hoeve, Dad - Tom Larson.  Matt and his wife are the car owners.

Matt started racing in 1999 in the Pure Stock Class at Steele County Speedway because it looked like fun.  His first win was that same year.  Career highlights include winning in '99 and first win in Midwest Modified  in '06 at Kasson Speedway.

The thrill of racing for Matt is going fast and passing cars.  His most exciting racing moment was his first win in the Midwest Modified.  He's most proud of being a clean driver and keeping the car looking good.

Of racing, Matt says, "It costs more money than  you can make at it, but it is the greatest American sport!".
