Ron Houdek drives the #27 Midwest Modified
Class car. His home track is Steele County Speedway but he can
also be found racing at Deer Creek Speedway, Chateau Speedway and Dodge
County Speedway. He lives in Owatonna, MN.

Ron started racing in 1990 in the Street
Stock Class at Chateau Speedway because he enjoyed the sport. His
first win was in 1991 in the Street Stock Class at Chateau Speedway.
Career highlights include Deer Creek Speedway Wissota Midwest Modified
Track Champion in '04, Dodge County Speedway Kasson Midwest Modified
Track Champion in '06, 9th National Points in '04 Midwest Modified
Wissota, Modified Track Champion Steele County Speedway in '97.
The thrill of racing for Ron is running
wide open, passing cars right next to the wall. His most exciting
racing moment was the '04 season winning 16 Features and Track Champion
at Deer Creek Speedway. He's most proud that he's had a good and
fun career with no major injuries.
Ron's racing hero is Dale Earnhardt.
Of racing, Ron says, "That it is a very
fun experience and if it were not for the fans and sponsors it would not
be as fun!".
