J R Jones drives the #6 Midwest Modified Class car.  His home track is Deer Creek Speedway.  He lives in Jordan, MN.

J R started racing in 2001 in the Hobby A Class at Arlington Speedway for fun.  His first win was in '03 in the Hobby A Class at Arlington Speedway.  Career highlights include 2002 finishing 9th in the Points at Arlington Speedway.

The thrill of racing for J R is the speed.  His most exciting racing moment was winning his first Feature.  He's most proud of still having fun doing it.

J R's racing hero is Mark Martin.
