Scotty Nelson drives the #33 Street Stock Class car.  His home track is Potomac Speedway but he can also be found racing at Winchester Speedway.  He lives in Leonardtown, MD.

Scotty started racing in 1998 in the 4 Cyl Class at Potomac Speedway because he loves it.  His first win was in 2000 in the 4 Cyl at the Potomac Speedway.  Career highlights include winning '08 Hobby Stock Championship, 15 4 Cyl wins, 5 Hobby Stock wins, 1 Street Stock win.

The thrill of racing for Scotty is winning races.  His most exciting racing moment was running a Limited Late Model car and qualifying for a Super Late race in '07.  He's most proud of winning 5 Sportsmanship trophies.
