Bill started racing in the early '80's
in the Street Stock Class at Berlin Raceway and Kalamazoo Speedway
because he was always a big fan of the sport, got to know John Benson
Sr. and through him to involved in the sport. Bill's first win was
in 1983 in the Street Stock Class at Berlin Raceway. Career
highlights include winning 1983 American Cancer Society Race at Berlin
Raceway, 1989 tied for 3rd in the Points in Late Model Division with
Fred Campbell, Bruce Vanderline and Johnny Benson Jr.
The thrill of racing for Bill is racing
with his sons Billy and Nick. His most exciting racing moment was
when he saw his son Nick win his first Feature race and son Billy finish
2nd in race right behind his brother. He's most proud of when his
son Nick beat him in a race.
Bill's racing hero is Dale Earnhardt Sr.
