Bruce started racing in 1997 in the
Sportsman Class at Berlin Raceway because his uncle asked Bruce, while
on a fishing trip, one question, "What would you do if you had the money
to do something?" Bruce said "Race" and two weeks later he had his
first race car. His first win was in 2005 in the Pro Stock Class
at Berlin Raceway. Career highlights include his first win in 2005
in the Pro Stock Division, surviving a bad accident at Berlin Raceway in
2002.
The thrill of racing for Bruce is
building the car and knowing exactly how it works as he drives it on the
track. His most exciting racing moment was passing Andrew Nyland
on turn 4 on the white flag lap for first win. He's mot proud of
having family involved in the sport of racing with him.
Bruce's racing hero is Butch Miller.
Of racing, Bruce says, "Be prepared to
make a total commitment and have deep pockets!".
