Natascha Thompson runs out of her home town
of Wall Lake MI. Her home track is Dixie Motor Speedway. She began
racing in a Quarter Midget at Waterfall Hills Raceway in 1996. Her
first race was her first win!
Natascha began racing because her dad,
Russell, raced off road trucks and she wanted to follow his footsteps into
racing.
Natascha was the 1996 MMRA Shoot Out
Series Rookie of the Year. 1997 and 1998 lead to Jr. Honda and Light
160 1/4 Midget MMRA Championships. In 1999 she was the Light 160 1/4
Midget Northwest Ohio series Champ and won the Sr. Honda MMRA series
title. She was the National champion light 160 Jr. sprint division at the
Ohio Nationals. She was the driver of the year in 1999 in the MMRA
The thrill of racing for Natascha is the
feeling of driving fast. Her most exciting racing moment was being
the 1st female to win in the ShortTrackTrucks.com Challenge Series
competition. She is most prod of the dedication put into
the sport and seeing efforts paying off. Being able to look back and
childhood and see that something special was accomplished.
Her racing hero's are Mark Martin and her
Dad.
Natascha would like to tell you "Racing is
a career well worth going after. Racing provides a very positive
enviornment for a family and kids to partisapate in.
