Tyler Utz drives the #98 305 Sprint Class car.  His home track is LA Raceway but he can also be found racing at XX Speedway and Lake Ozark Speedway.  He lives in Sedalia, MO.

Team members helping Tyler are:  Bill Utz, Shane Muths, Fred Smith.  Bill Utz is the car owner. 

Tyler started racing in '04 in the Sing Class 250cc Micro Class at Sweet Springs Raceway because he's always wanted to race since he was a kid.  He wanted to follow in his Grandpa's footsteps and be just like him!  His first win was that same year.  Career highlights include '05 Track Championship at Sweet Springs Raceway in a 250cc Mico, '07 Track Championship in 600cc Micro at Sweet Springs Raceway, '07 Nationals Champion at Sweet Springs Raceway.

The thrill of racing for Tyler is just the fact of getting a chance to buckle up and go out there for the drop of the green flag with the support of his family, friends and sponsors.  His most exciting racing moment was winning the Nationals!  He's most proud of his 2 Track Championships as well as 26 Feature wins and proud that his Grandpa is there to teach me everything Tyler knows!

Tyler's racing hero is his Grandpa, Bill Utz.
