Michael Cooney drives the #33 Street Stock Class car.  His home track is Lake Ozark Speedway but he can also be found racing at Midway Speedway.  He lives in Linn Creek, MO.

Michael started racing in 2005 in the Street Stock Class at Lake Ozark Speedway after Drag Racing since 1985, he'd always wanted to try Circle Track, switched over in 2005 and will never go back to Drag Racing! 

The thrill of racing for Michael is racing other cars, unlike Drag Racing.  His most exciting racing moment was racing Bill Weckman's "Worlds Fastest Corvette" on the Dragstrip.  He's most proud of knowing how to build his own motor.
