Billy Hopkins drives the #C23 Late Model & Street Stock Class car.  His home track is Malden Speedway but he can also be found racing at Poplar Bluff Speedway and Scotland County Speedway.  He lives in Caruthersville, MO.

Team members helping Billy are:  Wally, Chase, Jay, Wayne, Votec Boys.  Hopkins Auto is the car owner.

Billy started racing in 1987 in the Street Stock Class at Dyersburg .  His first win was that same year.  Career highlights include Track Championships in 1993, 1994, 1995, and 2002 at Dyersburg.  In 1995 Billy was the Track Champion in Go Karts at Dyersburg and in 2005  Billy was the Track Champion at Scotland County Speedway in Street Class.

The most exciting racing moment for Billy was winning the Feature event in his first ever race in an Open Wheel Modified in a car that he built.

Of racing, Billy says, "I wish everyone could drive a stock car at least once.  Jesus is the answer!".
