Lane Ehlert drives the #42 Mini Stock Class car.  His home track is Montgomery County Speedway.  He lives in Foristell, MO.

Lane started racing in 2005 in the Mini Stock Class at Montgomery County Speedway  because he has always loved racing.  His first job was at a race shop and he really got hooked.  His first Heat race was in '06 at Montgomery County Speedway.  Career highlights include Rookie of the Year for the RAMS in '05.

The thrill of racing for Lane is racing 2 or 3 wide for most of the race, just being out there and having fun.  He's most proud of his first year achieving Rookie of the Year and this last season finishing 4th in the Points and 6th in the RAM Points.

Of racing, Lane says, "It is about having fun.  Just being able to be out there and racing is a blast.  The easiest way to make a small fortune in racing is to start with a large fortune.  Live each day like it could be your last.
