Tara Hudson

 Tara  is 23 years old and races sportsman cars out of Jeff City Mo.  She started racing in 2000 and finished 11th in the points at Double XX. When you see Taras smile you would think she just won the Daytona 500.

In 1995 Tara won her first race in a powder puff race at Capital Speedway.

The car is a 70's Camero with a 350.

Dale Sr. , and her dad, Terry Trupin are her racing heros. 

Tara began because it was a family thing. her dad began racing at 14. His old car was not in use and she could afford it.

Taras  goal her rookie year  was a top 10 points finish, but a broken tie rod led to  crash and a broken foot. Tara  had to set out two weeks and miss the races. Tara still finished 11th in the points and was voted Rookie of the year.

Taras husband Jim, her Dad Terry, Brother Curt, her Uncles Jumpin Jimmy, and Walkin Paul, and many of her friends have helped her.
