Ray races Imca Modifieds out of Fulton Mississippi. In addition to his home track of Pine Ridge he also races at North Alabama Speedway and Columbus Speedway.

Ray started racing in 1986 in a Street Stock at Spencer's Speedway in Verina, Ms. His dad had raced for 17 years and he had been around it all his life.  He got his first win in 1993, in a street stock at Pine Ridge Speedway.

His career  highlights consists of "finally beating my old rival (Mark Fancher) in 1993 and finishing 7th in the points  at West Memphis Speedway in the Late model division in 2000. That was Rays rookie year in the division.  !994 brought a Track championship at Pine Ridge speedway in the street stock.

The thrill of racing for Ray is " Being competetitive! Starting at the back of the pack and going to the front."  His greatest racing thrill was being ask for my first autograph by a 10 year old boy at N/A/S. He is most proud of his track championship.
