Carl Smith II

Carl Smith II drives the #2 Enduro Class car.  He lives in Sanford, NC.  His home track is Fayetteville Motorsports Park.

Carl's #2 car is the Carolina blue and black Plymouth Fury 440.

He started racing because his father raced.

The thrill of racing for Carl is going to the front from the rear.  He's most proud of being a new 3 1/2 year old Christian and doing better than he ever has.

Of racing, Carl says, "Christians race too......race on Saturday, church on Sunday and Wednesday!".

Carl's racing hero is Sterling Marlin.
