Chuck Smith

Chuck Smith drives the #33 Super Street Class car.  He lives in Sanford, NC.  His home track is Fayetteville Motorsports Park but he can also be found racing at Wayne County, Lakeview and Sumter Speedway.

Chuck's #33 car is the red, white and blue 2003 Chevy Monte Carlo.

He started racing in 1985, Drag Racing at Fayetteville and Rockingham.  In 2001 he started racing Pure Stock at Fayetteville Motorsports Park.  He went from the drag strip to circle track because he just loves racing.

The thrill of racing for Chuck is the competition and trying to get the car hooked up for speed.  His most exhilarating moment was winning a Heat Race by a straight away and running the Georgia Triple Crown this year, finishing 10th, 10th and 4th on a 5/8 mile speedway.

He's most proud of their sportsmanship and commitment to getting their cars the best they possibly can for each race.

Of racing, Chuck says, "It's great fun if you can get your family involved and you meet a lot of really nice, down to earth, people.
