William (Scott) Ellis

William (Scott) Ellis drives the #3 Enduro Class car.  He lives in Lumberton, NC.  His home track is Fayettville Motorsports Park but he also can be found in Demo Derby's state wide.

Scott's #3 car is the royal blue and white '80 Buick Stock purchased for Derby Racing ...entered in Enduro for the first time 4/19/03.

He started racing in 1980 in the Derby's state and county fairs state wide because he loves to build the body's, taking something old and turn it into something nice.  Career highlights include 2001 NC State Fair First Composition, and 2002 County Fair 4th place. 

The thrill of racing for Scott is fun, fans and friends!  His most exhilarating racing experience has been in being banged up quite abit in Demo Derbys.  

Of racing Scott says, "Take an interest....it's loads of fun!".

Sterling Marlin #40 is Scott's racing hero.
