Jimmy Ray Watson drives the #1 Super Street Class car. He lives in Ararat, N.C. His home track is  the 311 Speedway.

He started racing in 1994 in the Baby Bombers Class at Friendship  Motor Speedway in Elkin, N.C. to feel the need for speed. His first win was in 1999 in the Limited  Late Model Class at Friendship Motor Speedway. Career highlights include Friendship Motor Speedway 2000 Second Place Points Champion.

The thrill of racing for  Jimmy is the competitiveness. He is most proud of the Second Place Points Championship. His most exciting  racing moment was 1st Place.

Jimmy's racing hero is Dale Earnhardt Sr.
