Jerry Cook drives the #3 4 cylinder Class
car. He lives in High Point, N.C. His home track is the 311 Speedway, but
he can also be found racing at Antioch Speedway, Kings, Southern Thunder
Speedway in Taylorsville and Friendship Motor Speedway in Elkin, N.C.
He started racing in 2001 in the 4
cylinder Class at the 311 Speedway. He worked at Friendship and drove the
Pack Cars and it was so much fun he decided to start racing. His
career highlight was getting were he can run in the top 5 consistently.
the thrill of racing for Jerry is
having fun with all of his friends racing. His most exciting moment in
racing was in 2003 when he and another car tried to take down the turn 4
wall. He is most proud of winning some Heat Races, and when he
finally got to go across the scales. In 2003 running with the Mod
4's at Kings Raceway and finished 7th out of 24.
His racing heroes are all of them. He
looks up to Mike Wells because he has been such a big help to Jerry.
Of racing, Jerry says, "Keep a level head
