Berry
#427
Mark Berry drives the #427 Limited Late
Model car. He lives in Pine Hall, N.C. His home track is the 311 Speedway,
but he can also be found racing at Oak Level Raceway in Va.
He started racing in 1981 in the Super
Stock at 311 Speedway, because he says, "I was stupid." He won his first
race in 1981 in Super Stock at 311 Speedway. His career highlights include
30 overall wins, 6 out of 8 wins in 2003 and 3 wins in 2004.
Passing on the outside is the thrill of
the race for Mark. His most exciting racing moment was on 5-22 after
wrecking in the Feature Race, the crew put back together the car. They
came from the rear to win a 6 lap shut out. He is most proud that his son
thinks he is the greatest!
Mark's racing hero is Dale Earnhardt.
Of racing, Mark says, "That racing is a
fun sport that can cost alot!"
