Ronnie Covey

Ronnie has been racing since 1982 and started out
driving four cylinders. He started out racing on the Franklin County
track. Ronnie got his first win in 1995 also in the four cylinders on the
Franklin Country race track.
Ronnie and Cathy Covey own the car.
When Ronnie was asked “What are some of your
career highlights…” “There are not many people I have raced with
that I have not put in the wall!” Ronnie stated that the thrill he gets
from racing that he can hit somebody and then also to try to win.
2005 1 Feature win and finished 4th in the points
at 311
He is most proud of the work that he has done on
his car and would like to thank Cathy Covey his wife and Richard Skull for
supporting him and helping him during the racing season. He looks up to
Tony Stewart and the late Dale Earnhardt as role models. He can most often
be heard saying “Whoop Ass” while at the race track.
