David Capps drives the #69 IMCA Late Model Class car. He lives in Mocksville, N.C. His home track is the 311 Speedway but he can also be found racing at Taylorsville,  Lowes, Antioch, and Carolina .

He started racing in 1994 in Late Model Class in Friendship because he liked competition. His first win was in 1999 in Limited Late Model Class at the 311 Speedway. Career highlight was the 1999 311 Speedway Track Champion.

The thrill of racing for David  is knowing he did it on his own. His most exciting moment in racing was his first win. He is most proud of  having his family and friends involved.

His racing hero is Mike Duvall.
