Mike Gerringer

Mike Gerringer drives the #5 Super Stock Class car.  He lives in Elon, NC.  His home track is Ace Speedway but he can also be found racing at Caraway.  

Mike's #5 car is the red, white and blue 2003 Ford Taurus.

He started racing in 1975 in the Limited Sportsman Class at Ace Speedway because he loved racing.  His first win was in 1982 in the Street Stock Class at Ace.  Mike was the Track Champion in 1988 and 1989 at Ace Speedway.

The thrill of racing for Mike is the speed!  He is most proud of his Track Championships.

Dale Earnhardt is Mike's racing hero.
