Kevin Anderson drives the #84 Mini Stock Class car.  He lives in Kernersville, NC.  His Home Track is Ace Speedway.

Kevin's #84 car is the red Ford Mustang, KMR Engines Silver City NC.

He started racing in 1996 in the Mini Stock Class at Bowman Gray Stadium because of the love of the sport.  He'd been working in a pit crew since he was 15.  He wanted to see if he could drive so he started out in a Demolition Derby!   His first win was in 2002 in the Mini Stock Class at Ace Speedway.  In 2002 he had 3 wins, Most Improved Driver Award, 15 top 5's and 2nd in Points.

The thrill of racing for Kevin is the speed....racing side by side and being on the edge!  He's most proud of winning with a car that he built mostly on a one man gang!  He works at the shop by himself, come to the track by himself and has people at the track that help him.  

Darrell Waltrip and Jimmy Spencer are Kevin's racing heroes.

Of racing Kevin says, "You gotta love it.....America's only true sport!".
