Gene L. Pack

Gene Pack drives the #1 Limited Sportsman Class car.  He lives in Walkerton, NC.  His home track is Bowman Gray Stadium.

He started racing in 1975 in the Clainer Class at Bowman Gray Stadium because of the excitement and family.  His first win was in 1976 in the Blunder Bust Class at Bowman Gray Stadium.  In 1994 and 1995 Gene was the Sportsman Champion.

The thrill of racing for Gene is the speed and the challenge.  His most exciting racing moment was winning his first Late Model race at Ace Speedway.  He's most proud of his Memorial Award from Ace Speedway.

Of racing, Gene says, "Very demanding with a lot of sacrifices but very rewarding due to fans and other racers!".
