J.R. Henderson drives the #20 Super Sport Class car.  He lives in Asheboro, NC.   His home track is Caraway Speedway.

J.R.'s #20 car is the black and blue Chevy Camaro.

He started racing in 1979 in the Pure Stock Class at Caraway Speedway because he was "crazy as hell"!  J.R.'s first win was in 1985 in the Pure Stock at Caraway.  In his career he's had 87 Feature and Heat wins.

The thrill of racing for J.R. is watching!  His most exhilarating racing moment was when he went over the wall and survived!  He's most proud of his boys winning.

Dale Earnhardt is J.R.'s racing hero.
