Johnny Burke Jr. drives the #56 Mini Stock Class car.  He lives in Winston-Salem, NC.  His home track is Caraway Speedway but he can also be found racing at Bowman Gray Stadium.

Johnny's #56 car is the black with white lettering Ford Mustang.

He started racing in 1994 in the Mini Stock class at Bowman Gray Stadium because he's always been around racing.  His first win was in 1994 in the Mini Stock Class at Bowman Gray Stadium.  Career highlights include 1994 Rookie of the Year,  2000 Track Championship at Bowman Gray Stadium, 3 wins at Charlotte Motor Speedway, Mini Stock, Summer Legends Shootout 1995.

The thrill of racing for Johnny is building cars and engines that run good.  His most exhilarating racing moment was winning the Championship at Bowman Gray Stadium and winning 50 lapper at the Stadium.  He's most proud of his Championship, Rookie of the Year and winning, in the same week at Charlotte and the 50 lapper at Bowman Gray Stadium.

Dale Earnhardt Sr is Johnny's racing hero.
