Matt Brooks lives in Concord, N.C. His home track is Caraway Speedway but he can also be found racing at Concord, Florence and SNS.

He began racing in 2001 at Caraway Speedway in LLM Class because his whole family races, it was all he knew. His first win was in 2003 in LMST Class at Caraway. Career highlights include 6th in Points LLM at Caraway- 2002, 6 Poles and he won at Caraway-2003 (LMST), 1 Pole; 1 Win LMST-Caraway 2004, Many Top 5 finishes at Caraway and Concord in 2004.

The thrill of racing for Matt is the speed. His most exciting racing moment was winning his first career win at Caraway in 2003 with a green white checkered finish. He is most proud of the fact that they build their own car engines, chassis and run good with it.

Of racing, Matt says, "Don't even think about it, unless you have a sponsor".
