Brandon Lucas drives the #51 U-Car Class car.  His home track is Caraway Speedway but he can also be found racing at Dillon Motorspeedway and Ace Speedway.  He lives in Asheboro, NC.

Team members helping Brandon are:  Justin Smith, Andrew Schill, Josh Jennings.  Brandon Lucas and Angelene Bowman are the car owners.

Brandon started racing in 2006 in the U-Car Class at Caraway Speedway because it's been in his family for 50+ years and he really enjoys being a part of it.  His first win was that same year.  Career highlights include winning the U-Car Feature on April 15, 2006 and led the last 4 laps in a car that he had never driven before in just his 2nd race ever.

The thrill of racing for Brandon is the speed, the people involved (good and bad) and the glory, what little they get.  His most exciting racing moment was his win in just his 2nd race where he raced the wheels off it.  He's most proud of his win and the fact that he's come as far as he has in racing.

Brandon's racing hero is Stephen Grimes.

Of racing, Brandon says, "Prepare yourself to work VERY hard!  But, it's worth it in the end.  As long as you put your mind to it you can do    anything!".
