Josh Harwell drives the #17 Crate Late Model Class car.  His home track is Carolina Speedway.  He lives in Concord, NC.

Team members helping Josh are:  Mom, Dad, Robbie and Elizabeth Thies, Kenneth and Penny Cook, Ron and Tonda Thompson - Grandparents.

Josh started racing in 2004 in the Rookie 4 Class at East Lincoln Speedway because his Dad used to race.  His first win was that same year.  Career highlights include 2004 - 2 wins (1 Backwards race) at East Lincoln Speedway, '05 1 win at East Lincoln Speedway, finished 3rd in the Points at I-77 Speedway, '06 2nd in Points at I-77 Speedway and 3rd in the Points at Carolina Speedway.

Josh's most exciting racing moment was his first win. He's most proud of being competitive.
