Scott Pounds drives the #1M Super Late Model Class car.  He lives in Knoxville, TN.  His home track is Volunteer Speedway.

He started racing in 1976 in the Street Stock Class at Bakersfield, CA. because he loved to drive race cars.  His first win was that same year.  Career highlights include Super Late Model Track Championships in 1988, 1991, 1995, 1998 and 2002; Carquest Dirt Late Model Tour Championships 2 times in 1998 and 2002; 6 Time IMCA Champion; 1994 IMCA National Champion; 1993, 1994, 1995 Regional IMCA Champion, 298 Feature wins.

The thrill of racing for Scott is winning!  His most exciting racing moment was winning the IMCA National Championship.  He's most proud of his 298 Feature wins and 2 Carquest Tour Championships.

Scott's racing hero is Scott Bloomquist and Dale Earnhardt.
